Good PC Headset

So, I just moved into the dorms at my university (UC Santa Cruz), and unfortunately had to leave behind my pretty rockin' sound system on my PC. My microphone just broke, too, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and get me a nice PC stereo headset.

Anything in the area of $50 bucks, and not too much more, would be good. USB or otherwise. Thanks!

I have this one and I think the sound quality is great. Also the microphone works really well:

Do you want circumaural or supraural? It makes a difference which one you want.

    I'd prefer circumaural.

I remember when headphones were headphones and ear phones were earphones, without all this fancy "aural" stuff!

:-D Keeping my eye on this thread though.

I know you said 50 bucks, and these are about double that, but I found them on sale at a Best But for $70 a while back (I want to say they might have been open box? I can't remember). If you can find them for cheap, they've got a fantastic microphone. I play with a fan pointed at the bottom of my laptop that basically blasts air across my face/mic area--and the mic blocks the fan noise perfectly (my buddy can't even tell the fan is on). They're a little heavy, though, but I attribute that to the fact that they're quite sturdily built.

Hmm, a bit out of my price range, unless I can also find them for sale. I'll keep an eye out.

    Any other suggestions, though, anyone?
