    I am a fan of this show.

    After watching the San Francisco episode, I went to Pirate Cat Radio and got myself a bacon maple latte.

    It's every bit as delicious as I imagined.

    they had the nyc outer boroughs episode a few weeks ago and now i am badgering my flushing friend to take me to all those places

    I've seen the Rust Belt episode like three times now, and being that I'm from Detroit and I live in the Buffalo area, it filled me with a shitload of warm fuzzies and all that nice crap.

    It's kind of weird when you live in un-famous places like these and you recognize restaurants, clubs and other places you've been on shows like that.

    Zamir getting fan attention out the back door of Nietzsche's was so staged, I damn near had a fucking brain hemorrhage.

    Books you say? I did not know of their existence ... definitely going on the Christmas wish list.

    And the show is making me want to go to that 'house of pot roast' or whatever in San Fran. It looks glorious.

    E: I hope there's a San Diego episode sometime before June next year ... need kickass places to eat on the honeymoon

    Kitchen Confidential is absolutely hysterical/amazing. Especially if you've ever worked in a restaurant before.

    I've only been able to find the one book. Other than that, it's just the books that go along with the No Reservations series.

    I can't find his other books, but I sure as fuck can find Rachel Fuckhead Ray's eight hundred books with her dumb fat fucking face on the cover. God, I hate her like goose shit on my bare feet.

    My fiancee's grandma's entire kitchen has a Paula Deen theme going on. Paula recipe's on the fridge, Paula books on the counter, Paula everything.

    It makes me feel judged for not putting enough butter on my biscuits on Thanksgiving.
