    I'd just take the train because it's pretty painless, but with the septa strike and work the next morning getting back is an issue

    Septa goes on strike nearly every year, don't think any of them affect the regional rails

    Also public transportation is nearly extinct in Toms River

    it most certainly effects regional rail every time they go on strike because you have less trains and more people trying to get on them

    I know more people take the rails when a strike is going on, I had to take the r6 to work during the strike in 2006 (or was it 2005) and all the trains were packed to the gills with people

    I was under the impression that only the el and the buses stopped running during a strike

    like I said, it's not that they have stopped running that is the problem, it's actually getting on the train

    I was trying to get home from the city on thursday on like the 3:36 train and didn't actually get on a train until 5.
