So my friends harangued me into playing D&D, and so far I've had quite a bit of fun with it. I made a Warrior that dual-wields shields for fun. One of them is a small buckler strapped to his arm, and the other is a Rygar-esque spikey shield attached to a long chain, wrapped around the other arm. He swings it as a flail and lets it fly at someone, or occasionally beats people down with the chain, or just bashes the crap out of baddies with it. It's a lot of fun, but I really need a good name for it, as it's the pretty key thing for my character and is referenced in just about every round of combat.
Any ideas?
TLDR - Need a clever name for my fictional weapon that is basically a spiked shield attached to a long chain.
"Mancannon's Reach" can be the name of the weapon; "Mancannon's Reach Around" can be a special attack in which he swings it around in a circle, hitting guys on all sides.
"Mancannon's Man-Batter" - hit a single enemy several times in succession.
"Rock-Hard Mancannon" - Raise both shields, protecting yourself from damage but losing an attack.
"Trojan Mancannon" - A magical shield covers you, protecting you from poisons and disease for X rounds.
This One 'ere (when people ask "which shield are you going to use" you can flex the relevant arm and say "This one 'ere" with a sly cock of the eyebrow.
The Lobotomizer
The Brawn (your other, since it's a blocking weapon primarily, the "Brains")
That's all I got on such short notice, and I'm at work. g/l h/f
I can't quite decide between the Chain Pain Train and Mancannon's Reach.
Mancannon's Reach may be better, then I can name some of the standard things I do with it just so it speeds up the explanation of what I'm using it for on that attack.
Still though, Chain Pain Train has some good ring to it.

The latter sounds like a move where you wrap the chain around your enemy's throat so that the shield flies around and hits said enemy, at which point you pull the enemy toward yourself to deliver the coup de grace.

Awesome.
Only if it's vorpal and keen! Otherwise you've gotta roll 20 3x in a row!
I like the idea of Mancannon's _____, but Reach sounds kinda mundane. I would consider:
Mancannon's Fetter
Mancannon's Iron
Mancannon's Manacle
Mancannon's Shackle
Mancannon's Trammel
Yeah, I looked up "chain" on Thesaurus.com.

Call it "Reason", just so you can say things like "I'm sure they'll listen to Reason." Shamelessly stolen from one of the most terribly awesome books ever, "Snow Crash".
You could also toss in a sprinkling of steam punk while making two video game references (both in title and function) at the same time and call it "Gear of war".

Dear God OP, you HAVE to choose this.

That sounds more like a move where you toss the shield on the ground and let an enemy grab it, then you yank it back just before he blocks a blow from one of your allies.

Yeah, I don't take the game too seriously.
Or 'My Little Friend' so you can go around quoting Scarface.
