I'll give you that it isn't as bad as Kinectimals, but it's a plain blue background with a tower thing thrown in for the sake of it. I'm not a fan of throwing too much stuff into a cover either, but it feels like they could be doing more with it.

I really like that Metroid cover, honestly!
Also Kung Fu Rider is some confusingly bad box art
The lone fairy Etos wandered around the world, in search for his friends. However, after long long time of journeying, still, none of his friends were to be found.
And slowly, the fairy lost his power. Appearing before the weakening fairy was a mysterious woman named Norun. In return for her nursing and kindness, Etos took over the responsibility of her two charges Duos and Meru as a surrogate parent.
Life was peaceful, Etos was a wonderful parent figure if not over-protective. However, one day, when the children reached 13, Norun's messenger appeared to inform Etos that the two children are born with the power of Narikiri- they are people who acquire skills just by dressing in the costumes of a certain job class.
Become one of the children and use your powers to help others and adventure in this great big world. Besides the Narikiri game, the disc also comes with Tales of Phantasia X edition - a re-release of the 2006 portable version with an updated battle system.
Dead Rising 2 would look a lot better if the main character there was showing some kind of emotion or had some expression on his face. He just looks so bored.
It's version 9.0. MH Frontier is an MMORPG of Monster Hunter. The subtitle says Premiere Package, so it probably comes with all the expansions and probably some special weapons/armor.

Still have high hopes for Hot Pursuit. I really enjoyed Most Wanted, but Carbon turned me off the series and I was told Undercover was terrible.
And the all-pink background of Just Dance 2 is hurting my eyes. So lazy.

Huh, I had the exact same response to the 999 whatever cover art of it being oddly familiar. And after some digging, yes, it's done by Kinu Nishimura, the guy who did all the Capcom groove character portraits in Capcom vs SNK 2 (amongst a whole swathe of other capcom work)
The Goldeneye cover is pure class. The Kirby cover is extremely cute. Child of Eden's cover makes me really happy by saying "Better with Kinect" which means I don't have to buy the bastard child of the Eyetoy and the Wii. I also kinda want that collector's edition of Tron, if only for the lightcycle.
Man, the Japanese cover for Dead Rising 2 is so much more intense than the US one (posted near the top of the page). The US one says "hey, you can kill some zombies if you want. Oh, and there's a Servbot head." The Japanese one says "unless you want this little girl to be EATEN ALIVE you better fucking kill these motherfucking zombies!!" The cover even states that the game's genre is "Zombie Paradise Action." Wow. I'm actually interested in the game now.
I'm also pleased with the Yakuza 4 and Sonic Colors covers.
@Gilder: That pirate game is a pirate-themed lightgun games. In arcades, the cabinet was shaped like a small ship, and you sat down inside it to shoot at stuff. Thematically, I think it would appeal to someone named Gilder. But I haven't played it, so can't say much more.

Aw man, now I want to play it. I'd love to sit in a little pirate ship and shoot stuff. Stupid american arcades being dead and everything.

All right here's a question for you Euro folks. Do your cases say on it whether a game is DSi exclusive or not? Because I really, REALLY want that Last Window game. But NoA has no plans to bring it out in the US right now and I know DSi carts are region locked. So I just want to know if by looking at the box it would be okay for to import it. From what I remember they only lock games if they have DSi functionality. If that's just a plain DS game I think I'm good.

I'm trying to remember, but wasn't the sonic DS collection also a vanilla DS game? Because that was actually region locked. I'm thinking it may have also had DSi functionality though.

Until then, here's some Japan.
DS
360
(Strike Witches)
Wii
PS2 (?!)
PSP
(DO WANT)
(Ys VS Sora no Kiseki)
The PSP isn't going anywhere if Japan's any indication.
Also, this:
I'm going to guess that it's a sorta sequel, since it says it includes the original PSP version of Tales of Phantasia in the corner
I played it in the arcade when I was in Japan, and it's really nice.
US
(Also PS3/Wii/360/etc.)
Shovelware
(Galaxy Express 999)
(K-On!)
(Yakuza Kenzan)
(?)
There's just awesome wherever you look in that picture
On the other hand Kidz Bop's cover art is pretty fucking awful

Remake of the GBC games, more info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_Phantasia:_Narikiri_Dungeon_X
"The Galaxy Express 3 9 will take you for a journey...a never-ending journey...Journey to the stars!"
Huge update to make up for it. PAL mixed in too.
Wii
PS3
(Japan)
360
(WANT RIGHT NOW)
PSP
(Japan)
DS
Swear I've seen this art style before. I think it was in Capcom VS SNK 2.
EDIT: Yeah, the Goldeneye cover is nice, hope PAL gets that cover.
Here's another one I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on, released just the other day
Lovin the 4 Heroes of Light cover, nicely retro.
I'm also pleased with the Yakuza 4 and Sonic Colors covers.

So, it's Point Blank 4, now with pirates?
I want to take this behind the middle school and get it pregnant

My mind refuses to believe that we might get a Yakuza box art that I think is actually more visually appealing than the Japanese box art.
