Let's talk Tex Murphy (and they're on sale at GOG.com)

First, a public announcement: All Tex Murphy games 50% off at GOG. $3 for Tex 1+2, $5 each for Overseer, Under a Killing Moon and Pandora Directive. I actually just found my old copy of Pandora Directive and was trying to figure out how to get it up and running on my new netbook, but for five bones I might just rebuy it.

Second: I remember really loving at least Killing Moon and Pandora Directive when they came out, but I don't remember a single thing about them and I hadn't played any of the other ones. Which ones were any good?

Martian Memoridum (#2) was pretty good and fairly close in style to Moon. But with 2d screens instead of 3d rooms. Also the ocassional pixel hunt.

Overseer is kinda a retelling of Tex 1, the set up being that when he's out on a date with Chelse, she asks about his first case.

Under a Killing Moon is fantastic and I still have my original copy. I never got around to Pandora or Overseer until they showed up on GoG, and I'm really glad I did.

Mean Streets is rather miserable these days but I remember thinking it was mindblowing at the time. Funny how time changes those things.
