I would hate to be Cooper. I mean, he could be the best at what it is he does, but both his brothers still have Super Bowl rings. I get the impression that when they played backyard football games, Peyton was QB, Eli sulked until Peyton let him QB for a bit, and Cooper was right guard or something.

actually both Eli and Peyton have said that Cooper was a better qb than the both of them

but he has some debilitating disease or something that weakened his body so he cant play

This is what blows me away. Farve has the record for starts, but he's at least gotten hurt and had to come out of games. Peyton doesn't ever come out of the game. He's an iron man.

He's tough but like I said with the curling up, it helps him avoid getting laid out by rushers and avoid injury. He is by far the player "most valuable" to his team. The Colts would be totally fucked were he to go down.

If I were a Colts fan, I'd rather he curl up and avoid the injury than get laid out just to make a 4 yard pass.

Live to throw another day, sir.

Man, I thought Wade was gone for sure this time.

I guess winning a Wild Card playoff game was good enough for Jerry... this time.

I think Caldwell could definitely out-bore us over Phillips.

He seems to be the flavorless breadstick of NFL coaches.

Absolutely. And I don't see his curling up as a bitch move at all; there is a point where preserving yourself actually intersects with preserving your team. And Manning is that point.

In fact, he sits atop that point, with a crown and scepter.

Jerry isn't going to pay for a high-priced coach if there's any possibility of a 2011 lockout - no way is he paying that kind of scratch for someone to sit on their dick and collect a paycheck.

It will get a big bump no matter what if the Vikings go.

Colts/Vikings would be a better matchup, in terms of story line, since the debate between "greatest all time" in popular outlets often comes down to Favre or Manning. And they both have only one ring.

    man what?

Also, how the fuck could Brett Favre be in the conversation for greatest of all time? He's not even the best Green Bay quarterback of all time.

a guy at my office was insisting that Favre was the best ever the other day. He was basing this on the fact that he has the most wins. Apparently to him, nothing else (QB rating, completion percentage, etc) matters in this discussion.

manning and brady both have a shot at goat, depending on how their careers finish up (manning has better numbers obviously, but less rings and has played indoors for most of his career)

but at this point it's got to be montana

The other day he gave me tips for making toilet wine, and how to keep from getting stabbed in the junk when in prison.

And that if I go to prison, I DO NOT get to hang out with people from another race, even if we were pals before prison.
