I wish they didn't edit it, but the choreography in this anime was beyond epic. I don't like how they edited the best parts, like how the fight turns out and the conversation between Mugen & Jin before Mugen takes off to the island.
The storyline is just as epic as bebop, which in itself, you can't miss.
Samurai Champloo:
+Awesome music
+Awesome fightscenes
+Main cast was pretty likable
+One of the best outros I've ever seen in an anime
-Suffered from Bebop syndrome in that most of it is filler and it doesn't go anywhere until the last episodes(good filler though)
Afro Samurai:
+Good Fight scenes
+Great animation quality
-Plot was terrible...
-The plot was really terrible...even for that type of show
-I mean it made no sense...
-They were fighting over a stupid headband.

Umm...so yeah...Champloo is better.
The great thing about champloo though is it had bebop syndrome, which in most cases, is fucking fantastic.
They want you to build a relationship with the main cast, just like bebop by showing their flaws and what type of person they really are.
I still hands down think Spike is one of the best written anime characters ever, next to most of the Trigun cast.
The anime is just so surreal, searching his whole existance for that one girl and then she dies in his arms when he finally finds her. One of his eyes is fake, so it "sees the past while the other only sees the future." How fucking badass is that?

The pillows are pretty damn good, but I love how FLCL uses the music. Just syncs up so well it's orgasmic.
The part where Naota has to hit the baseball missil and "Crazy Sunshine" is playing, it literally sends goosebumps up my spine everytime.
Watch the part @ 3:00 and let the music and the scene really seep in. If you don't get a boner in your brain there is something wrong with you. The guitar solo with that part is just seriously beyond words.
Reports are that you can see the anime trailer, in English, on Xbox Live video something or other. Can't personally verify, but multiple people are mentioning they watched it there. It'll probably get a YouTube mirror soon enough for the rest of us.
Update: Someone got the English audio track and matched it to the Japanese video.
This looks far and away better than the animation from Studio 4C. The characters more closely resemble SF's art style and the action is a lot smoother. I hope this is all part of another bonus OVA. It looks epic.

Ryu's beef is more with Akuma and just like, becoming a better fighter and stuff in general, I think? It's Guile who's got the specific beef with Shadaloo (sp?) and since Juri is a new member of that group it makes sense that he'd be the one to fight it.
I mean, as much as the story to Street Fighter can be said to make sense.

So I'm eyeing my TE stick noticing it's been sittin there not getting any use, and I fire up SSFIIHDR and, people still play it, fought about 4 different people in ranked. And had a disconnector even. 2 Ryus (one guy was the same person twice) a Bison (disconnector) and a Balrog.
I think Capcom of Japan told their artist, "Draw us up a cover for the game" and told Capcom USA, "Just use whatever stock clip art you've got laying around."
Still, this one has Juri viewing everyone else with ill-intentions. And if it's any consolation, we got pre-release original SF4 box art that ended up being different than the final product's.
