There's lots of references in this song, and I don't get all of them. Help an old guy out so he can impress his kids with how "cool" and "with it" he is. And, y'know, just satisfy my own curiosity

Truncated lyrics, with my questions in green.

[snip]

There's a special kind of girl that goes to my shows
And I don't mean the groupie hos
All along the front row
She's more like a wallflower
Like the one that Stryker sniped

Stryker? Videogame reference? Wiki was no help.

I'm like elixir when I'm with her

Elixir? Generic reference to various healing potions in various CRPGs?

'Cause I think I like her type

She might seem shy in person, it's no lie
She's always nervous
But the verdict is she's worth it
She gets crap but don't deserve it
She look like Emily Strange
Always ravin' 'bout her favs
Wanna conquer her like Kang

Reference to the Simpsons alien or the comic book supervillian?

When you kiss like Cassie Lang

This Cassie Lang?

There's no way I can pronounce Neo Geo Evangelion
I can't refute 'cause she's so cute
And so I suck my belly in
X-23 and Hellion,

No idea here, re: X-23 and Hellion

odd couple, to be kind
She's in my heart and in my mind
And now she's in my rhymes

[snip]

She's like Annie Potts in 'Busters
Get my freak on like I'm Egon
Say third base right to her face
And she will be like, be gone
If not now know I can wait like Lucas and the locusts

Just a guess, but is this a George Lucas/Star Wars prequels reference? And locusts, is he confusing them with cicadas?

Stryker: May be a reference to the table top wargame WarMachine, a caster is named Stryker and has a spell named "Snipe" that extends the ranged attack of an allied model.
Elixer: pretty sure your right on with that one.
Kang: Possibly Kang from Star Trek, though I'd bet on the Simpsons Kang if I had too.
X-23, Hellion: X-men comics. X-23 is a female wolverine clone, Hellion's wiki page references this song.
Lucas: Possibly a reference to the time it took Lucas to get around to filming Star Wars I, II, III.
Locusts: Could be confusing them with cicadas (hard word to rhyme, cicadas...)

The Kang reference is to Kang the Conqueror.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kang_the_Conqueror

The Locusts are the enemies in Gears of War; they waited in underground lairs for the right time to emerge.

    Stryker and Wallflower:

Also might note that Elixir in the FF series fully restores all of your hit points and mana, so he's basically saying that he feels 100% fully rejuvenated when she's around.

Seeing as how it has so many x men references, stryker may be:

    And Elixer may be:

Stryker? Videogame reference? Wiki was no help.

Stryker as in the lead character in Airplane, who picks up the lead female (a wallflower in a disco bar).
