Router Resetting when joining TF2 Servers

Since I upgraded to windows 7, about 90% of the time when I try to join a TF2 game my router will straight up reset. The router is a BTHomehub. Can any of you guys think of a reason why switching to windows 7 would suddenly cause the router to misbehave, when it wasn't when I was using Vista 64? I'm even using the same installation of TF2!
