It's still five and we could always make a dummy account if people are concerned.
This is the most logical answer, no? Create a singular account for the group purchase all the DLC to it. Some (All?) PSN content purchased to a user is available to every account on a given PS3, so long as the owner's account is on that machine as well. Thus your five add the dummy account and no personal information for your actual account(s) is transferred. And should something go amiss, you're only out the ten bucks and not your account (though the Secret Santa rule should rule out 'foul play' anyways).

If it's that cheap I might have to pick it up for the future. I have so many games to get to as it is though...
Anyway, I *loved* Disgaea 1, played the hell out of it. Disgaea 2 eh, I got right up near the end of the game to where I should've started doing crazy bonus stuff and completely stopped playing it. And even getting that far took forever... I just wasn't as into it for some reason. Part of it was I wasn't nearly as interested in the characters... the Disgaea 1 cast was just so much better. But I did love a lot of the gameplay/item world changes Disgaea 2 brought to the table at least.
So I hadn't bothered to get Disgaea 3 yet, wasn't sure I'd get into it. Still don't, but that's pretty cheap for new so, what's to lose? Since I don't have my PS2 hooked up anymore and my PS3 isn't backwards compatible, I have no way of playing the first two anymore anyway.
I'd say the real problem with D2 is that it takes forever to get the treasure maps needed to open up LoC. At least in D3, you only need to have 25 out of 43 X-Dimension stages unlocked and beaten, some of which can just be bought in the secret rooms in Item World; a lot better than praying that the one pirate you're missing turns up on floor 99, instead of the other 15 you've already beaten. Even better still when you consider that two sets of pirates can turn up on consecutive turns in D3.

I might consider it when I finish the game, but it's not like D3 is lacking for content on its own.
My best guess is they want to milk the few people who bought the game for all they're worth.
Well I checked the store, and each chapter costs $3. So even if you only wanted the extra story you'd still be saving $2 if you just chipped in $10. Plus you'd get all the extra characters, other play modes (?), and themes.
