Why yes, I did receive an email from TellTale stating that they are not responsible for the damage and that I was on my own to file a claim with the carrier.
Was yours the only JP vehicle they used for PAX? Seems kind of stupidfor them to just up and put out mixed signals like that publicly when it can bite them in the ass

I did have a conversation with them at the convention. I actually spoke with Kevin Bruner, the founder of TellTale. Luckily I managed to get ahold of him before the weekend got to hectic. I said, "Look I could be "that guy" and throw a fit, threatening to take my Jeep out of here tonight unless you cut me a check right now, but I know this is a huge weekend for you guys, that you need to promote your game and you've gone a ton of other to worry about, I get that. So, we can put this on a back burner until the expo is over, but I'd like your word that you'll take care of this immediately afterwards." They were pretty appreciative, Kevin seemed so understanding and determined to have it taken care of.
Then as soon as Sunday night rolled around, it all seemed to evaporate.
The lesson I learned is to never rely on others to make a situation right, it's up to you.

Not in my schedule right now. As a long-range plan I do intend to visit New York the next time Halloween falls on Saturday night, which I believe is 2015.
My next big goal is San Francisco and getting a picture of Adam Savage with the Ecto because, well, because.
I have a friend in Ohio who is finalizing his awesome ACTUAL 1959 CADILLAC Ecto-1 replica, and one of his first goals is to take it up the east coast. I plan on going with, and I'll absolutely suggest PAX East to him!
I've been dying to make a set of vintage racing-style half posters for each of the CMC cars. Here's what I have so far...
