I'm left handed and I just learned to use a mouse normally, it's incredibly helpful given the variety of computers a person might end up sitting down at.

Just makes my WASD all the more accurate.

For general mousing, I am basically ambidextrous.

For gaming, instead of right-hand mouse and WASD, I'm left-hand mouse and 2468. Numpad, that is. Arrow keys used to be ok back in the Counterstrike/Quake days, but these days FPSes have way too many keys that need to be bound. Numpad gives me 0,1,3,5,7 and 9, the math symbols and the period, and I can still hit all the arrow keys with my thumb easily enough.

The problem with ambidextrous mice is they're usually too small; I have pretty big hands, so mousing gets kind of uncomfortable after a while. Plus they always have an equal amount of buttons on the left and right edges; it's a pain in the ass to try to hit Mouse5 with the inside of my pinky finger.

Now all I need is for someone to make a keyboard/keypad thingy with movable programmable keys and I'll be one happy southpaw.

I can sit down anywhere and use the mouse proficiently with my right hand, but I still use my left for fps. I've been using a ltd edition Boomslang for a while now (they had them on sale with free international shipping last Christmas.) It's nice to know there will be someplace to move to once the Boomslangs are gone again, though I will miss the size of it.

I'm a sinister guy, and even though I've tried to, it never felt right. Mice and scissors.

Hate how left-handed people get left out of a lot of sports though...
