Registration
- Registration for ALL PC tournaments begins on Friday, March 16th at 2pm, right outside of the PC-Tournament area.
- Only full teams will be signed up. It is your job to join and/or create a team, we're not your babysitter. It is recommended you linger around the PC-Tournament area at signup time, and at tournament time and your chances of joining a team will be Pretty Good.
- Check-in time will begin 45 minutes prior to a tournament's starting time. Competitors are required to check-in at least 15 minutes before the tournament's start time. If you/your team doesn't check in during this time, your spot will be opened for another person/team.
General Information
- All tournaments will be exclusively using tournament computers provided by Intel and Nvidia. You will be allowed to bring over your mice and keyboards and customize your configurations, you will not be allowed to load software of any kind.
- If you sign up for a tournament, please be there. If you decide you will be unable to, check in with us and let us know so we can open up a spot for someone else.
- As a general rule, it's a good idea to show up at least 20 minutes in advance of each tournament, and that will give you time to configure your settings and warm up before the tournament begins.
- We should be able to sit teams next together for the most part, but in cases where we can't, Ventrilo servers will be available. Feel free to ask if you'd like one and we'll provide you with password information.
- In team games, please take care in choosing a team captain. Pick someone responsible. Being tall or otherwise easily found in crowd can also help.

Should still be a good time though, and I may be inclined to attempt Bad Company 2 just to give it the old college try, if i can gather up a team of nubs who dont mind losing so long as we make the attempt.
Try and get a team together as soon as possible if you want to be in a tournament.
With that said, we only sign-up full teams and tell partial teams and individuals to all show up 45 minutes before a tournament is supposed to start so that you may organize teams amongst yourselves.
"most accumulated points wins"
im hoping this mean rounds, and not everyones combined score...
All of the maps listed are competitive push maps, and all leagues determine the winner by round wins (either by a first to 5 rule, or whoever has the most in a set time period). If by total points you mean everyones combined score that needs to be changed. There will be no reason to push and fight if capping points and winning rounds doesnt make count towards anything. Both teams will just turtle up and spam so they dont die.
Please... can we get a clarification on that rule? Instead of "points" can you please put "rounds"... thanks
also, if we get 32 teams (or close to it) single elimination is the best bet, but if we only get like 6-10 teams... even if we play 1 match at a time... with 20 minute matches, and with 8 teams playing the tournament will only last a little over 2 hours. If there are enough tournament PCs to run 2 matches at once (or more) then it will only take about an hour or so. Also, depending on the number of teams that sign up (say 10 teams for example)... eventually that will turn into an odd number of teams, and someone will get to advance automatically, and in a single elimination tournament (especially one with a small number of teams) that not really fair or fun.
I really think you should consider having the tournament be double elimination if there are only around 6-10 teams signed up, and if there are enough PCs to run more then 1 game at a time. That way it wont be over as soon as it starts.
It's up to the tournament admin in regards to what he wants to do if only 10 teams sign up.
