anyone able to download Splinter Cell 1 DLC to 360?

I'm getting stuck on a necessary update when I attempt it.

Downloading all the DLC for original xbox games to 360, before servers are shut down.

    I managed to do it by signing into a Silver account on my 360. I don't know if that would make a difference for you or not, but it worked for me.

    Hmmm, I'm on silver now... and all my other original XBOX games that require an update before I can get to the DLC work fine. SC2, just finished updating, for example

    edit: but it requires gold to get to dlc, curses! just like halo 2 :( anyone got a month of live they wanna part with for free/cheap?

    suddenly working after doing some other games and coming back to it. also tried a different silver profile on it... who knows




    but now I'd like if someone can confirm both Halo 2 and Splinter Cell 2 require gold membership to get far enough to access the areas where you download DLC? you'll get an error if you're not gold saying there are connection issues... you can't proceed further

    all the other games I've tried, do not.
