Drunk discussions about cognitive dissonance? Best game ever.

Anyway... I'm not really sure what to vote here, but I'm leaning towards 'I do'.

Just to save time, I should also post the follow-up. Should we celebrate Geralt's instant family with a trip to the Eager Thighs Brothel?

Sure, why not? He's gotta enjoy his last night as a bachelor or some such nonsense.

Only having been through the game once, I'm not sure. I don't think it will majorly alter the plot, but it feels important enough to who our Geralt is that I wanted the viewers to have a say.

I guess it's too late to vote on this, but I chose Triss.
I didn't entirely trust her, but it looked like Alvin was an Akira Tyke Bomb situation and Triss was better equipped to handle that. All the good intentions in the world won't save Shani if Alvin's elder blood or whatever gets out of hand.

edit: and man will I be glad when we're done trudging through that damn swamp. Stupid annoying drowners. All Kalkstein's ribbon does is make them lurk nearby so you can't loot anything till they're dead.

Triss seems to have forgotten that she, too, is a redhead.

And we've helped out the creepy Lovecraft cult again. I do hope we'll be able to do something about them at some point.
So... Salamandra is behind the 'Suspicious Edicts with the King's Seal' business, are they? Those guys seem to be behind everything. I was kind of hoping there'd be a seperate plotthread here, but no. It's Salamandra once more.

    I'm not surprised, just disappointed.

I think she meant to say that we endangered the city for the wrong redhead. Heh.

Rest assured, there will be more to do with the Vodyanoi.
Even if Salamandra is behind the forgeries, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. How could they possibly manage to declare edicts in the kings name? That takes more than a nice piece of paper. And why would they declare martial law in the trade quarter?

The king was away and his representative (his brother?) was a salamandra pawn, if he's got a nice piece of paper what are you gonna do?

I can't download the first two files. I get the following error by clicking them.
    Invalid or Deleted File
The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

I was wondering why it showed so few downloads for those. MediaFire shows me two downloads each for the first two files and one each for the other two. Are they all bugged?

Yeah. The URL from the original post looks right. Hmm.

Doesn't work for me either, even if I'm logged in, but when I go click on the file, it does.

So... Salamandra is somehow involved with the King, the Order keeps a close eye on the Princess and Yaevinn has just been smuggled into Vizima.

I do not believe this to be a particularly stable situation. :P

Also, that clerk scene was just... random. Really random. I honestly don't know why they included. Other than the obvious reason.

Since you appear to have a few mild anger issues to work out, I think this would be a great time for you to go into law enforcement. :P

    Go check out the bank.

From the boxing match, take the silver sword upgrade.

As for talents... I'm going with what's currently in the OP which I'm not sure is entirely up to date, but whatever.

    Bronze:
    Quen: Student
    Steel, Group: Precise Hit 1
    Silver, Strong: Patinado 1

    Silver:
    Igni: Level 4
    Dexterity: Agility

I vote that you should ignore the robbery for now.
I figure Salamandra might be behind it, but screw little kids walking up to you with silly side quests. And it is not Vivaldis bank anymore, so whoever is having his racist crap ruined there had it coming.

Or maybe it's just some vengeful Scoia'tel.

It can be prepared a variety of ways, but it's different to say the least. No cooking means the beef doesn't taste the way even rare beef tastes. Spices and seasoning can make a huge difference as well since there's less base flavor involved.

    Choose A Side
    1. Aelirenn... Hmm... Freedom, beautiful ideal. I'll join you, but remember, Yaevinn - victorious revolutionaries become statesmen, those who are defeated are labeled criminals...
    You've chosen ending 1

    2. I won't be dragged into a war between the Scoia'tael and the Order. I'm a witcher. Neutral as all hell.
Yaevinn: You're a fool, witcher. It's too late for neutrality. Stand with me now or forever be my foe.

    1. Don't expect me to tag on a squirrel tail and dive headlong into battle. I'll help you the witcher's way.
    You've chosen ending 2-1
    2. I'm not about to slay humans in the name of some vague philosophy. Lay down your arms and maybe you can save what remains of your unit.
    You've chosen ending 2-2

    3. Out of the question. I'm not about to fight for you.
    You've chosen ending 3

Option 1 doesn't really sound like Geralt, but, eh, he's helped them before and might as well choose a new himself in order to maybe score a few elf chicks by being one of those pretentious edgy revolutionaries.

It even fits if you consider that he's having commitment issues with Shani and joining up a revolution seems like a pretty good excuse if anything.

So, I vote option 1, because it's funny.

I remember it took me forever to find three archespores. That was definitely the most irritating contract.

Yaevinn seems somewhat less crazy once you get to know him better.

I think the trick with the archespores (and possibly other kill contracts) is that most monsters respawn after a day or so.

Most people do. Then you get to know them too well and they seem even crazier. :)
