I have windows 7x64 and my computer randomly freezes. I have no conflicts in my device manager, I have run chkdsk 3 times now and it still randomly locks up. I have no idea what else to do, please help me.

What are your system specs? How long have you had it? What happens when on the screen when it freezes? Check your event viewer > Administrative View, what errors come up right before freeze?

Do you have an ATI card?

Why would an ATI card matter?

Why would an ATI card matter?

My computer had the same problem, and reading up there was a lot of issues with ATI cards just crashing whilst idle.

It's probably worth looking into. Anyways, my problem turned out to be a wireless card, so I don't know if it was drivers or hardware. But I replaced it with a new wireless dongle and everything worked fine.
