Heh, this is neat. In celebration of Pac-man's 30th birthday, Google's homepage has a playable pac-man screen.

In related news, damn. Pac-man's pretty old already, and I don't think any sort of reinventing would be as enticing to the current generation as compared to the older crowds without the end-product not being pac-man at all... It's a little sad.

    Most badass thing Google's ever done with their homepage.

    I never did find a vanilla Pac-Man cabinet in an arcade. Plenty of Ms Pac and Super Pac-Man, but the only place I ever found Pac-Man was the counter-top version at virtually every Pizza Hut back in the day.*
