Round 1: CorpseRT vs Butler
Larlarconsecutive normal brunchesModerator, ClubPAMod Emeritus
Inside my chamber, where I yet persist,
There slips a note beneath my front-door rail
This missive, I confirm, is more than mail:
It bears an order I dare not resist
You see, I kill for pay, so to subsist
A little longer - but to what avail?
Why line my purse and leave my soul to ail?
Why from this blood work can I not desist?
"Because to take life is my life," I croak
"My only worth is in my steady hand
And nerve - a thug is all I'll ever be."
So, thus resigned, I go with gun and cloak.
Before the sun sets on this wretched land,
I'll murder he the damned call CorpseRT.
ACT II - A Shakespearean Quest
I seek him at the phalla club, where they
with better natures play at being worse.
The sheep say, "He got backstabbed yesterday
And left in an imaginary hearse."
I try the hardware store's electrics aisle
where Corpse is known to shudder by himself.
But he's been banned for trying to defile
a B plug (clerks are hosing down the shelf).
Fresh out of leads, I heed an idle whim
and check my victim's Twitter for a clue
It reads: "dum butler im to smart 4 HIM
heel NEVAR think too check behined th zoo!!"
With this mark, it would seem, my first mistake
was reckoning him sharper than a cake.
ACT III - An Occitan Conclusion
Behind the zoo, I pounce, but Corpse takes flight
and through the wailing streets I give him chase.
He's almost fleet as I. The edge of night
is near upon us when I match his pace
and throw him to the ground to end the fight -
but there we freeze in mutual disgrace.
My gun, its single bullet poised to bite,
thus wavers from my head to Corpse's face.
He begs, "We're not so different, you and I!"
So true! I'm just as wracked with sin as he:
What better reason one of us should die?
Yet for this deadlock I have not the key;
and so, my friends, I'll trust your honest eye:
Who stands? Who falls? Your vote shall set us free.

but Butler's rhyme and meter prove superior
(also "phalla club")
Damn.
while i do like CRISP
i also like the symbology of the written wordations
gonna think
That being said, popped collars do seem much more potent than the written word. CorpseRT got my vote.
3DS: 2981-5304-3227
but Corpse just had a charm to it that I can't ignore
but I have a big fleshy soft spot for sonnets.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
He would vote for Corpse.
I do have a soft spot for rhymes though, so Butler gets my voice
I loved the [sic] in CorpseRT's though, Jesus can't spell
I had to give it to him
Liked Corpse's (CRISP!), but gotta give it to Buttlar(lar)
CRISP
it's still good
also cuz my memory is awful
whoa
whoa
WHOA WHOA whoa
you might be wanting to STEP. OFF.
I will vomit banelings all over you.
I mean, read it for us, or put it on a parchment background. Perhaps animate the words for effect, like the swirling motion the adobe lets you do.
it sounds like you really want him to do a red text over blue steel power point
shut up shut up shut up
Tough decision here though I'm leaning towards Corpse.
also this clip-art picture of a bee

But my vote went with CorpseRT.
not much of a poem guy i guess.
edit: re-reading the third one. i really like that one.
hmm. s'gonna be a hard one.
but words
words are all I have
Although the [sic] in Corpse's made me grin.
Castle Crashers and death by popped collar vs poems
I'll come back later and view them again!
