Darian's right, Tzeentch is the second easiest player to dial tick with (Khorne being a bit easier because it almost never happens where Khorne doesn't at least have a single combat casualty) and if Tzeentch ticks every turn, he only needs to double tick once during the game to reach the end of his dial.
I've always found Slaanesh to be the biggest challenge personally, but our games here would indicate that it's me rather than a deficiency in the god.
And you guys didn't do squat to help me. In fact, you're actively helping him win.
This is pretty much patently untrue- in fact, I deliberately put the Electors in a territory that was about to be ruined, in order to prevent Tzeentch from having a safe haven there.
Electors Sue for Peace (no battle dice in Event region) and Warpstone Discovery (draw card if at Warpstone) are still in effect
Khorne (5/7) sends out the Blood God's Call from Kislev (Bloodthirster and bloodletter teleport in) Nurgle (5/6) releases some Influenza in Estalia (-2 to resistance) Tzeentch (5/6) shields Troll Country within a Temporal Stasis (+2 PP for others to act) Slaanesh (6/6) reaches out to the Degenerate Royalty of Bretonnia (no effect)
Khorne (4/7) deploys a bloodsworn to the Badlands Nurgle (2/6) releases the Stench of Death into Estalia (place 2 corruption if dominated) Tzeentch (4/6) decides to Teleport a Warpstone and an acolyte from Kislev to Bretonnia Slaanesh (5/6) migrates a seductress from Kislev to the Empire
Khorne (3/7) bellows a Battle Cry in Bretonnia (no corruption placed) Nurgle (0/6) prepares the Final Rotting in the Empire (kill a cultist or warrior for each corruption) Tzeentch (4/6) waves away Nurgle's attempt with the Changer of Ways (cancel other slot) Slaanesh (4/6) migrates a seductress from Kislev to the Border Princes
Khorne (2/7) screams out a Battle Cry in Norsca (no corruption placed) Tzeentch (3/6) completes the evacuation of Kislev, sending the final acolyte to the Empire Slaanesh (3/6) brings another seductress to the Border Princes
Khorne (1/7) calls a bloodsworn to investigate Estalia
Tzeentch (2/6) has an acolyte drag a Warpstone from Bretonnia to the Empire Slaanesh (3/6) makes a Perverse Infiltration into the Badlands (place one corruption)
Khorne (0/7) prepares for battle with a final bloodsworn in the Badlands Tzeentch (1/6) joins him in the Badlands with an acolyte from Norsca Slaanesh (1/6) calls for a Field of Ecstasy in the Border Princes
Tzeentch (0/6) sends the last acolyte across from Norsca to the Badlands with a Warpstone Slaanesh (0/6) rests
Corruption step:
Troll Country: +2 DIAL
The Empire: +2 DIAL, +2 DIAL, +2 DIAL
Bretonnia: battle cry
Estalia: +1
The Border Princes: +2 DIAL
The Badlands: +2, +2 DIAL
Check for Ruination:
The Badlands are the first region ruined (2 + 7 + 1 + 2) Khorne and Tzeentch each score 3 VP for contributing to its ruination this step.
2. Hero Tokens are resolved - Heroes kill an acolyte in the Empire, a leper in Bretonnia, and a bloodsworn in Estalia
3. Resolve Old World cards - Everyone draws a card for Warpstone Discovery
4. Score Ruined Regions - The Badlands: Tzeentch scores 6 VP for first place and Khorne scores 3 VP for second place. Nurgle scores 3 VP for Provender of Ruin.
5. Advance Threat Dials - Tzeentch has the most tokens and double ticks; Khorne, Nurgle, and Slaanesh each tick once Khorne:
17 - Score 4 VP Nurgle:
18 - Score 3 VP Tzeentch:
21 - Place 2 Warpstones
25 - Upgrade Slaanesh:
11 - Upgrade
How could my one point have prevented a double tick?
It couldn't have. Your last three points, on the other hand, could have been used to offer targets to Khorne in Kislev and/or Tilea instead of playing the Field of Ecstasy.
I hadn't really considered deliberately feeding Khorne. I don't think it would improve my chances of winning, though- it would be sacrificing my 0.1% chance to try to get a Nurgle win instead of a Tzeentch win.
Yeah, Khorne-feeding is best done by whoever has the best chance at winning via VP, but you were the only one left with PP when Nurgle went out so early.
All hands updated! Khorne is active for the Round 5 Summoning phase
Degenerate Royalty - 3 - If played in a region with three or more corruption tokens, this card's cost is reduced by three. (It's printed cost is still used to calculate your domination value.) In the Empire. 6/6

Khorne (6/7) moves into Troll Country with a bloodsworn Nurgle (5/6) coughs up a plaguebearer in Tilea Tzeentch (6/7) brings an acolyte to the Empire Slaanesh (6/6) reaches out to the Degenerate Royalty of the Empire (no effect)
Khorne (5/7) continues with another bloodsworn into Troll Country Nurgle (4/6) responds by summoning a plaguebearer into Estalia

Degenerate Royalty - 3 - If played in a region with three or more corruption tokens, this card's cost is reduced by three. (It's printed cost is still used to calculate your domination value.) In Bretonnia. 6/6 PP remaining.

Khorne (5/7) continues with another bloodsworn into Troll Country Nurgle (4/6) responds by summoning a plaguebearer into Estalia
Tzeentch (4/7) sets up to Dazzle the Empire (one fewer corruption placed by others' cultists) Slaanesh (6/6) finds time to speak with the Degenerate Royalty in Bretonnia (no effect)
Khorne (4/7) summons a bloodsworn to the Border Princes from the Badlands Nurgle (4/6) releases a Plague Aura into Bretonnia (corruption adds to domination for N) Tzeentch (3/7) brings an acolyte with a Warpstone from Troll Country out to Bretonnia Slaanesh (5/6) orders a seductress from the Border Princes to the Empire
Khorne (3/7) prepares a Field of Carnage in Troll Country (others cannot be summoned away) Nurgle (3/6) causes All Things to Decay in Troll Country (remove a Tzeentch corruption)
Perverse Infiltration - 0 - When you play this card, place one corruption token in this region. This does not give you a dial advancement token. In Norsca.

The Badlands: 2 dice
Make your own rolls either on Invisible Castle or Orokos; the campaign should be "CitOW game 17"
Khorne to roll.
The only hope would be for Khorne to kill at least three acolytes in The Badlands. I don't really see how Slaanesh's other point could increase this.
The Badlands: 2 acolytes
Khorne earns one DIAL advance token.

Things that need to happen:
I'll take the Power of Magic upgrade (+1PP)
I'll discard The Meddling of Skaven
Heroes are the bane of my existence, and very often overlooked. Thanks!
I'll take the Seductress upgrade.
It couldn't have. Your last three points, on the other hand, could have been used to offer targets to Khorne in Kislev and/or Tilea instead of playing the Field of Ecstasy.
Divine Inspiration
Choose any Peasant token in play and replace it with a Hero token.
Discard this card instead of adding it to the Old World track.
Slaanesh, where will the final Hero emerge?
I hadn't really considered deliberately feeding Khorne. I don't think it would improve my chances of winning, though- it would be sacrificing my 0.1% chance to try to get a Nurgle win instead of a Tzeentch win.

I don't think much would change if the bloodsworn came from the Badlands.
