Cronus, how did you hear about this word?
I'd suggest asking whoever you heard it from about the spelling, or just not use it in the email at all. Find a way to work around it.

I've already written the email as I needed to get it out tonight, but I heard it by talking to a Microsoft employee. I didn't think to ask him the spelling about it at the time.

perhaps you should not talk about something if you have no idea what it is, when you are applying for future employment, as the knowledge is something that will likely be applicable in the near future
for then you will look quite the fool, oh ho ho dear me yes

yep,
if you used that word in the wrong context, or if you're questioned further, you just dug yourself a nice little grave.
its pretty dumb to put a word in a formal email that may not be a word
what if the guy asks you what it means
saying that he too looked it up and couldnt find anything
and you say you heard one of his employees use it
and he thinks you are trying to be a wanky suckup by imitating them
mentioning that it might be spelled wrong is just going to draw attention to it
I know what the word means. I simply don't know how to spell it and the definition is very long when written out and I'm sure that the person I emailed knows what it is so I wasn't going to use the definition.
