I need to find an article (maybe two or three pages) before tomorrow describing the events of Galileo's imprisonment but I have no idea of where to search for such a thing. Can anyone lend a hand??

You're not going to find much of anything on his imprisonment because he was never actually put in prison. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1633 but it was actually a house arrest at his home at Arcetri under an archbishop. He died in 1642 so he only spent nine years under house arrest.
