Grrr. Netflix just removed all 5 seasons of Lost from their collection.

I was only on season 1, episode 11. I'm paying for a service and they're not providing it.

Now what do I do?

While that does suck, it's probably temporary. Also your claim that they're not providing a service is bs. They're still providing the service and I can guarantee you that there's language in the agreement to the effect that they do not guarantee any particular dvd will be carried by them. Quit netflix if you feel you need to, but they haven't broken any agreement with you.

    Walk to a video store?

    Use Hulu?

There are lots of films that Netflix doesn't have that I'd like to watch. That's life.

According to some guy on Yahoo! Answers, the streaming licenses have to be renewed periodically, and sometimes there's a lapse which results in stuff being unavailable for a few days.

Hulu appears to have all episodes from the first five seasons of Lost.

Hmm, I would have assumed it was something they could plan for, and would therefore reflect in their standard red text(on the XBOX 360) saying when the show would be removed.

If it does not come back, I will certainly be peeved.

Yeah if you look at your instant queue there is occasionally a date in between the title of the movie and the play button that lets you know the movie is disappearing soon. I lost A Clockwork Orange before I got a chance to watch it.

Uh, they pulled all episodes of Party Down today. That's cool but I was watching the BRAND NEW episode when they did it. Seriously, 1 hour ago they were all up.

Usually they warn you well in advance for instant queue.......

    Assuming you don't have a streaming-only account, couldn't you just...I don't know...rent the DVDs from Netflix?

They were putting up each new episode of Party Down season 2 as it aired. I was watching Season 2 episode 8. The DVDs won't be out for... a long time.

They do this for certain shows. It's awesome.

    Puzzling.

Lost is back, but is no longer available for instant viewing. For fucks sake...

Either cancel your account, or don't.

There really isn't another answer to this.
