I recently bought some dark horse trades and am having some issues with them. With every one I have read so far, the cover completely seperates. I have tried reading them on a table, because I thought maybe my body warmth from holding them was messing with the glue, but that didn't make things any better. Is this normal?

Obviously no. It's not. Did you at any point store them some place overly warm? I find it odd that different runs of graphics novels would all be falling apart on you.

They are volumes 1-9 of Star Wars: Clone Wars. I haven't been storing them anywhere overly warm.

Have your receipt? Take 'em back.
I ordered them through amazon.ca and am still within the return time. I am just not sure if I should get a refund or risk replacements. The local place here is selling them for way too much.
I had a similar problem with vol. 1 of Hellboy, which is also Dark Horse. When I returned it to the comic store the guy said it was a common problem. The replacement I got held up fine.

Hmm, I've only read through the first 4 volumes, maybe I should read through the rest and see if any don't have this issue, then go the replacement route.

I've had this happen to me on a couple of books, but I just used a glue stick to reattach the cover to the pages.
