Bringing OGRE and Lovecraftian Horror Together: What to Name This Brew?
...I'm trying to rack my brain for a good name for a project I'm working on. It involves a dystopian post-apocalyptic world that is largely 'ruled' by giant cybertanks (a la S.J. Games's OGRE) with some directly Cthulhu Mythos trappings.
I'm stuck with what to name the thing, though. I've been using 'Cthulhutank' as a placeholder, but it sounds silly and there's a pen n paper RPG named 'Cthulhutech' already (which sounds too similar). I've been experimenting with ways to mix the words Necronomicon and armor, but I haven't come up with anything that sounds evocative.
So, I'm just looking for naming suggestions. Anything would be helpful.

Well giant tanks give a war theme. Perhaps using one of the other Elder gods would work better for the name. Dagon [elder brother of Cthulhu] and Nyarlathotep [The Crawling Chaos] would probably be a better fit. The Cthulhu mythos is much larger than just the bearer of chaos.
If the tanks are products of Cthulhu awaking then using R'lyeh as the source would probably be appropriate. Artifacts of R'lyeh or R'lyeh(thian) Tank/Tech would fit the naming scheme you've already displayed.

I can also suggest ORGEcraftian Horror.
