I'm looking for some games to play at work on my lunch break. I have both a psp and a ds but haven't really used either online. Are there any good online games out there for either system? Ideally I'd like something with some kind of persistent levelling, and some strategy element. Warhammer 40k for the psp looks interesting, but I'm not sure if it has leveling or if anyone is playing it anymore, same with Fat Princess, I don't want to pick up a game only to find out that the playerbase has already dried up. Thanks for any suggestions.
I wish it were time for cheers, but its not, its time for vengeance!

I know there aren't any mmo's out there, was thinking more like call of duty, or even sc2. Doesn't need to be 'levels' per se but some sort of stat or rank tracking, so I can get my daily grind in during lunch. It looks like Monster Hunter Freedom Unite might fit the bill, but I wasn't really sold on the gameplay from what little I've played.

The first thing that popped into my head was Phantasy Star Portable 2, because it has an internet co-op feature in addition to the local co-op the first game had. Sadly its only out in Japan at the moment. It will be out this September for NA/EU.

the pokemon games are..sort of...what you're looking for. I'd recommend getting HG/SS anyways because they're fantastic games.
The thing about the Monster Hunter games on the PSP - they only work through ad-hoc. So if you're not using Ad-hoc Party (a program for the PS3) or X-link Kai (a program for the PC) you will not be able to play with anyone else outside of local coop range.
Really? I've only played mhfu offline, but when I go to the gathering hall it always gives the option of online play or offline play. If that only works through the ps3 then boo on sony.
