Braid is fun but the story is stupid and super-pretentious, and while a lot of the puzzles are brilliant, some of them rely too much on pixel-perfect jumps in a game with somewhat-shoddy controls.

There's no way to say it (that I can think of) without sounding like a douche, but Flower isn't a game. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it's great to just take in the scenery and chill out with. It probably helps my opinion of it that I got it for free though.
I totally bought into the flower hype, and had an enjoyable time with it the first time through. After thinking about it, I realized there's nothing to it and that it is not a good game at all, but is a decent piece of entertainment software, I guess.
1 - Scariest game Ive played in forever. Like, Dead Space scary. Play it with headphones on. Im waiting for it to get dark before I continue. The atmosphere really, really gets to you. The noises, the buzzing, the weirder things get the deeper you go...
2 - Pleasantly suprised about Avatar Awards!
3 - After I quit, I wanted more so I went back and saw "Replay Chapter". With no discernible way to figure out what a "chapter" was, I looked to check my progress and saw I was about 1/3 of the way through. Maybe even a little more. I played for about an hour. The puzzles are getting more and more time consuming, however, so I could see it taking 4 hours to complete. It's totally worth it though.
4 - For me, replay value is going to be very, very high. There's one achivement I saw, "Beat the entire game in one sitting, dying less than 5 times." that will be FUN AS HELL to go for. Ive already died about a hundred times. Very, VERY rarely has it been from cheap "You didnt jump just right!" deaths. Every time it was a learning process. It is going to be an absolute blast just playing through, trying to remember the puzzles to get this achievement. For me, it's like the 'Splosion Man hardcore achievement, which I loved - only HARDER because you don't save at all (its only autosaves) so if you die, theres no reloading and cheating.

I actually tried the Deadliest Warrior demo immediately AFTER deciding to stop playing Limbo for the night. It worked in reverse.
I just felt very tense and uneasy and needed to totally shut my brain off and calm down.
