All you need is 2 firebats to tank zerg and light them on fire, and let your other units happily blast away. With a medic healing it, a firebat lasts forever.
so I kind of played some of this
it installed on my laptop but it looks like low quality AVP2 right now
it seems like a waste to play it on the laptop when I will be able to play it in all its glory by next week (if not next week I will make it my life goal to take UPS down)
Yeah, old RTS campaigns are basically like playing the game on skirmish only the enemy has a huge starting advantage to make up for dumb AI and they all turn into mop-up operations after the first 10 minutes.
the campaign overhaul actually surprised me a bit, which is why that campaign overview video got me so excited
I just wish I had more days off and a definite time frame, delivery-wise, for the rest of my computer parts
might just switch some shifts around to get thursday or friday off and work saturday morning so I can play this more in case UPS gets their shit together
you just gotta force yourself to never use your mouse on your buttons, even if it slows you down a lot at first.
You will pick them up quickly like that.

Played a 3v3 with my roommate and a new guy. He said before the match "I'm kind of scared." and then we got to the bases mid-game and all they had were 10 cannons and 2-3 pylons on them. Woo, placement matches!

I'm glad RTS have evolved beyond that.
Also the persistent upgrades are really awesome.
I'm liking this, too.
The gameplay itself is pretty much what I've played before.
But, man, the framework for the campaign is pretty much making the game for me.
I wish some parts were full on pre-rendered cinematics and not displayed with in game graphics
when playing on a shitty computer things can get rather slow and blocky

At any point do you get to punch the science guy? I need to know.
If diamondbacks were in multiplayer, I would probably play terran.
would someone like to give me one? unless I need like a super dope computer
check your computer against the minimum specs here http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/
if you pass at least the minimum requirements I'd be happy to give you one of my trial things
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.

i got to the zerg upgrade that has you choose between
i just sat there for a while and eventually decided i'm going to have to play through this campaign a couple of times
at least i already have noticed this normal run is not that hard so next time i might go on hard or even brutal to keep stuff fresh
really wished I'd preloaded this, but at least I'll be able to play tomorrow

unlike the original, I do not get immediately bored with it and cheat my way through

about one flash every 10 seconds
I'm scared
there are challenge matches that don't let you use anything but hotkeys, if i'm not mistaken
Holy shit that campaign. I can't wait for all the big names to show up.

FUCK I can't sleeeeeep....
That is the point of a game, yes.
Indeed! But some games fail to be so.
This game is succeeding excellently.
