So a breeze caused the death of a hero with years of experience? That's brilliant storytelling.
No, Dick's still alive. That's when he stopped being Nightwing.
In this issue, Terry goes to Dick to see if he's the new Hush and Terry's like "no offense" and dick's like "none taken i know how it is." and then gives him proof that he's not Hush
and then the last page is "SIKE DICK GRAYSON IS HUSH"
and i'm like "don't learn mysteries from jeph loeb"

It's gotta be a Dick Grayson clone or Clayface or something, because Dick obviously wasn't being held in Cadmus for all that time.
You know, I don't think the delays across various books are necessarily Morrison's fault. I have a feeling that the problem is simply logistics. There are something like 6 bat-titles that need to line up in perfect sequential order as to not spoil the story in other books. That's a LOT of artists, colorers, inkers, editors, and everything else.
Morrison always seems to be pretty far ahead with his scripts. I have a feeling that all this delay nonsense is simply because this whole "Return" thing has become a major event all of its own. Getting everything to sync up properly is probably a bit tricky.

Do you not recall Final Crisis itself being delayed, because Morrison had to "change everything" (I do not know what was actually changed) at the last moment?
Morrison likes global connections to heroes, like in New X-Men. Mexico better have el Murcielago loco.
There's actually no u on the end of that. It's more like Baatoman, though I figure youre just going for the stereotype joke.
And Batman Beyond #4 was fucked up beyond belief. It's like they were tired of doing a halfway decent revival of the franchise and decided to nosedive it into the runway.

Morrison also made New X-Men late by turning in scripts at the last minute to make sure editorial wouldn't interfere with them. Joe the Barbarian was late because Sean Murphy had no scripts after #5 I believe and was just waiting for them.
The only book I know of that Morrison had done ahead of schedule was All-Star Superman, the delays there were Quitley's doing.
Do you not recall Final Crisis itself being delayed, because Morrison had to "change everything" (I do not know what was actually changed) at the last moment?
Final Crisis was late because of J.G. Jones, hence why the last issue was drawn by Doug Manhke

Morrison was the reason FC was late. The team was given a year head start (hence why Countdown was made, and promptly ignored, because Morrison wasn't told about it and why Death of the New Gods was made), and Morrison changed the story save for issue #1. DC planned ahead to accommodate both creators on this one but Morrison changed the story. This is why at New York Comic Con in 2008, Jones only had completed issue #2.
Then they put on Pacheco and Prado and finally Mahnke, who said he drew FC #7 in three weeks.

Jones said that “Any problems completing the series are my own. I love Doug Mahnke’s art, and he would have probably been a better choice to draw this series in the first place.”

Wasn't that quote right around the time of all those rumors about Didio and Jann Jones?
So, what of Brian Bendis’ comments on “Final Crisis" last week, "in 2012 when final crisis is done, we'll see what's what" interpreted by many as stating that the book is very late. This seemed to be confirmed from a number of sources. But one had more details.
I’m told Grant Morrison turned in the issue one script back in November. However, it was not exactly what has been previously discussed and didn’t bounce off from the end of “Countdown" as intended. It also goes off on what can only be described as Morrisonian tangents. You know, what readers call “the good bits."
So Dan DiDio flew to Scotland after Thanksgiving to discuss possibilities further. I understand the script is unchanged, but it was from those discussions that the 50 cent “DC Universe" #0, shipping the week after Free Comic Book Day, emerged. Co-written with Geoff Johns, it will keep any "Countdown" continuity issues out of the “Final Crisis" series and prepare the way... very much the John The Baptist of comic books.
Geoff Johns is also writing a Final Crisis-spinoff "Legion" mini series drawn by George Perez that will slot into all of this very nicely.
Artist JG Jones is currently working on issue two. I've been told that if there are production delays, rather than throw in "Countdown"/"Infinite Crisis" style fill-in artists, or cause "Civil War" style sales-harming delays on the book, expect the pages by JG Jones to reduce for subsequent issues with back up stories with the DCU #0 artists Scriver, Pacheco and Daniel to replace them. Which means the book may extend a couple of issues to fit in all of Morrison’s story, the retailers get their fill, and everyone wins...
Apart from Brian Bendis.

I'll take Jones' word for it then, it's just Jones is usually good with schedules given time. He did a Black Widow mini for Marvel Knights on time, and Wanted was held up because Millar was sick and doing a lot of stuff with Millarworld when he had three or four books at a time out there.
A Bruce Lee type dude in Batman would be ace, similar to Shang Chi. He's not all sneaky and gadgety he's just amazing at Kung Fu and even Cass Cain and Lady Shiva would be like "fuuuuuu" if they saw him kick ass.

I am sorry, but those two don't react that way to anyone.

Late to the arty but B&R 14 was awesome. Few books have ever made me want MORE and MORE with each issue. The wait is agonizing.
Also, you know how some people claim Alex Ross defined the way Superman looks for them? Frazer Irving has defined how Professor Pyg and Dr. Hurt look for me. I love it.

Morrison did mention that he'd changed some things later on in the process (like acknowledging Death of the New Gods in FC #2 or #3) but I'm pretty sure that was mostly just dialogue changes, nothing that would've affected the Jones' art.
I'd guess Jones was late because of the personal craziness that went on at the time. Couldn't have been easy for the guy.
What is Greg Rucka writing now? After he dropped off of Detective Comics, I haven't seen his name on anything.
Nothing at DC. He said he's focusing on writing his novels for the time being. He may've left due to his frustration with DC editorial though, he didn't really make a secret of his annoyances with them at times (over Batwoman and cleaning up whatever Johns or Morrison were doing at the time).

None of it makes any sense. Which is a shame because I've been enjoying it until now

He's not really writing anything for DC. I think he's continuing Stumptown though.

I hope he works for an ineffectual white guy who claims credit for all his accomplishments.
Or maybe he'd have a super badass chauffeur that's a white dude.
Whichever's funnier really.

I kind of think he's going to be a Bruce Lee pastiche, which would explain the Kato outfit.
His facial expression makes me think he's doing Lee's characteristic cry, at least.

Maybe he really is.
It says something to the effect of "unknown" or "unrevealed"
Which either means they don't want to say or this game's name is Unknown
either is clever

This begs the question, where is Most Excellent Superbat?
He's walking through Japan on a journey of self-discovery and telling everyone he meets that money is the solution to all their problems.
