Lead and Gold is a multiplayer shooter shoot shoot shoot that takes place in The Old Westerntimes when things was simple. You didn't push no carts or collect a wide variety of fancy hats. You shot people's hats. And then you shot their dang head.
All the classes are based on [strike]stereotypes[/strike] archetypes of the people in the old westingtons where you shoot people and steal their dang money.
The
Deputy pings targets at midrange with his carabiner thing and it is just mean times USA to get hit by a couple of shots from that thing. He targets dudes with a mark so his teammates know where they are so they can pew pew also?
The
Blaster is a simple man from a simple time. In the west, we don't need more guns. We need more explosions and beards. The blaster makes problems go away at close range with a shotgun and fistfuls of dynamite that can kill entire teams--both yours and theirs--and get you teamkill banned from a server by dropping it at your feet one too many times.
The
Gunslinger doesn't give a fuck what you're doing, he's just gonna run circles around you and shoot faster than the devil's own revolver and pretty soon oh you're dead
The
Trapper class drops bear traps for you to get stuck in. She laughs at you as she shoots you from afar with her sniper rifles, because you are stuck in a mantrap, and she is a woman hunter born.
This game is a good time and a small-scale alternative to team-based games like TF2 which require teams of 10+ on each side. L&G works well with teams of just four or five; one of each class runs pretty smoothly. The western setting is consistent, and the classes have a polished look and feel that rivals the character design of TF2.
so give it a shot
