NiGHTS into [Flower]

So I was going through PSN demo section and I stumble across a game named 'Flower'.
D/L it and it gave me a feeling that I haven't felt in a long time. A feeling of freedom that I haven't experience since the day I realize that I didn't need Nights to defeat Wizeman, only my courage. Basically, i realize that I'm playing a freaking game that NiGHTS 2 should of been, instead of that shitty Wii game..
I borrowed my brother's PS3 for a month or so, and outside of playing Valkyria Chronicles, the only real thing I did with the console was buy, play and fall in love with Flower. I can't explain really why the game is so powerful, but the sheer act of playing it -- driving into the wind with that soaring soundtrack -- gave me a feeling I've ever really only felt with one other game, which is Rez (my favorite game of all time).
It's not really a game you play all of the time, but I bought it on a gamble with the inclination that I was going to enjoy it, and it blew my mind.
Too expensive for a "relaxing" game. Maybe if it drops below the $5 mark. Plus doesn't it use the motion controls for the PS3 controller? The motion controls suck.

It actually controls really well
I did kinda wish for a way to do a quick 180 though

Ah okay. I just get nervous when PS3 games use motion control because more often than not it just doesn't work.

I bought my Saturn for Dragon Force, but I also got NiGHTS with it. Still a lot of fun to play, and beautiful.

The fluidity of this game's controls just makes the shitty motion controls in other games that much less excusable, because it's definitely not a hardware issue.
Flower is awesome, one of the nicest downloadable games I've played.
If you want something truly different (but barely interactive) then give Linger in Shadows a go. It should only be a couple of dollars. It's weird. There's loads of little bits hidden away in there.
Flower remains the only game to even remotely justify the PS3's motion controls.
I prefer Noby Noby Boy as a random relaxation piece, but they both do it well.
There was something about that farm level, the dusk-ish one, that just completely resonated with me. It was borderline odd, but I completely fell in love with that one bit of the game. I think it reminded me of something from my childhood.
I think Flower is well worth the money, it's cheap and it's interesting enough that, even if you dislike it, it's a good indication of certain possibilities, both from a gameplay and hardware (ps3) perspective.

Though Flower at least looks really pretty (I'm sure NiGHTs did at the time as well)
Just a nice relaxing game. Then you get to chapter five and everything you touch scares the shit out of you.
Have you ever even played on a Saturn console?

Yes
I still own one
I actually bought one just for NiGHTs! That's before I actually played it.
The system proved its worth otherwise, though, and remains my favorite Sega console
Don' worry, it's because you lack taste. :P
Just actually playing them, they're not really my bag
NiGHTs is pretty much just time trial-based gameplay, and I have to give some respect for that

Christmas NiGHT's is a nice addition, though.

If they were to do another NiGHTS it would be neat to see Thatgamecompany tackle it.
