Help me find wireless headphones for TV watching

My Dad is getting old, and with the oldness comes a decreased sensitivity to hearing (he's going deaf). The problem is that as my mom is getting older she's getting more and more sensitive to hearing. Eventually she's going to flip out and kill something because you can hear my dad's TV from anywhere in the house, and often times from outside and down the street. Also, whenever my mom tries to ask him to turn the TV down she becomes the bad guy like she's constantly nagging him about it (which she is because even if he does turn it down, 10 minutes later he's turned it back up again)
Anyway, my aunt was having the same problem with my grandmother and her TV watching and ended up buying her a set of wireless headphones that hooks up to the cable box and allows her to watch at whatever volume she wants while still allowing everyone else in the room to watch at some other reasonable volume.
My mom has set me out on a mission to find a similar pair, saying money is no object because her sanity is certainly worth more than any price these I'll find these headphones for.
TLDR: Need comfy wireless headphones for TV watching near-deaf guy.
Can't go wrong with Sennheisers. I have a Sennheiser headset computer gaming. Very clear and very comfortable.
You'll basically need to split the output coming from your TV, so the included splitter may not work for you. The cables are out there, you just have to get a little creative.
