[[SOLVED]]What is this device called and where can I get it?[[SOLVED]]
It's found in many childrens toys and often in cheap roadside attraction souvenirs and also greeting cards lately.
Basically some sound gets recorded onto it, and it is placed in an item, the user pushes a button and it plays the sound. They can push it again and it plays the sound again. In some cases it can have multiple sounds, or just the one sound. The user cannot record what they want on it (except in special circumstances but that's now what I'm looking for). And that's pretty much all it is/does.
But I don't know what this thing is called or where to get them, so you can load your own sound onto them. I considered just buying a toy or something that had this item in it, and taking it apart, but then I wasn't sure if I'd be able to put my own sound on it.
Any ideas?
Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.

Maybe just get a cheap little audio recorder and attach that to whatever you need to?
They make ones the size of USB flash drive sticks.
but they're listening to every word I say

They're just using the card for the speaker, not the audio chip.
Google thinks you can get recordable greeting cards at most craft shops.
