    '#1 by community vote'

We all know how the LoL community is like, right?

EDIT: I guess he removed the video, sad :(

Some pro-gamer who is good friends with Pendragon switches from HoN to LoL because Phreak lays a bet on him saying that he can't become #1 in LoL. Name drops all over the place and says he's going to be #1

except the internet remembers the time he was dropped from his sponsors when he was playing HoN, or something. Not that its important.

I'm off today, and my chick is at work then has plans with her sister who is getting married, so I was planning to order a pizza and play League of Legends for the majority of the day. I see the servers are down. :(

I do think that I am going to try to pick up a new character though. I know I am not the best but I feel really weak if I am playing either Teemo or Heimerdinger. Like I can just not compete with certain characters during the end game. I am not sure who I am going to play yet but I tried Nasus because he was free and although my ratio was bad, I do like the character.

As much as I agree that Milkfat is a tool and an arrogant ass, I don't really see anything wrong with Riot giving him IP and RP. Game companies pay "pro" gamers all the time in the form of sponsorships, etc. for publicity for their game. Riot giving some dude what amounts to a few thousand dollars that can only be spent on their in-game bonuses and items isn't that big of a deal.

The hilarious thing is the community's reaction to this.

I personally think that they are kind of getting out-of-hand with all the new champions. I would rather have more balancing and more skins than more new characters. How many characters does the community need? There are already like sixty characters! Not that I am against Riot trying to make money or anything, I will gladly support them for providing such a great game, but all the new champions do not really appeal to me. Maybe it would be different if I were level 30 and had experience with all of the champions already there but for me, it just sort of feels overwhelming. More characters that I have to, at the very least, learn how to play against.

i used to watch some of the competative HoN games, never heard of milkfat. all the others sure, but not him or his team. they must not have been that good.

    in other news, corki:

i'm trying to lock down a build for him. i've gone gatling first, and bomb first, and i like bomb way more than gatling early. just my personal choice. what i'm having trouble with is build. i start with either doran's blade or mana crystal. get boots 1 and tear first trip back if i can, then build zerks and get a long sword next trip, if there are a bunch of stuns i will grab merc treads, or trade them out late game if needed.

ultimately, i am going for manamune, but i don't build it until later so that i can build up some extra mana with tear, since i spam a lot of skills as corki. after i have doran's blade, tear, zerk, long sword, i'll build veil, then finish manamune, or if i have enough, start working on IE. depending on farm, i get IE first, then manamune. so my core is zerk, manamune, veil, IE.

my issue is that i sometimes have issues in the early game if i don't get some kills, i get the CK i need, but building manamune really slows me down, as it does any character. i like the item, it lets me spam my skills all i want, but... eh, it isn't good for damage.

what do you guys think? also, i don't care if corki isn't optimal, i have fun with him.

Yeah, not a big fan of any of the Morgana skins.

The champ, on the other hand? Very nice. Laning phase with Morgana is easy mode.
Morgana has issues against physical carries with good range, actually. MF gives her fits, Kog is not a great matchup, etc. She does okay against Ezreal, though, since they can worst case trade off Mystic Shot for Dark Binding, which she can followup with Tormented Soil. And if he blinks around constantly to avoid Bindings, welp there goes his mana.

Also, because she naturally pushes the lane, she can potentially be vulnerable against ganks.

Yeah, ranged physical carries can be a bit of an issue (although thankfully I haven't been squared off against a MF yet **shudder**), but I haven't had any real problems with pushing/gank-avoidance. Either you're duoing one of the side-lanes so you have someone watching your back, or you're soloing in the middle and if you push the lane too far you can just go back and hit some creeps in the jungle until the conflict line moves back towards your tower. With a health pot, mana scepter and Clarity, I've found so far that I can stay in-lane in the early game more or less as long as I want to.

With Morgana, I actually typically end up in the top solo/1v2, where she can generally do okay. However, if the enemy has safe harass and is capable of zoning, she can run into issues, since her health return naturally pushes the lane, so she either sits around at low HP or she pushes the lane out of XP range. Neither is particularly ideal.

And if you take creeps from your jungler, they will hate you forever.

Morgana is one of the lucky few that can stand up quite well to a miss fortune (in a lane.) One of MF's enormous advantages is her ridiculous move speed, which Morg can neutralize any time she feels like it with a tormented soil.

It feels like with the current free roster, if at least 2 of Morgana, Karthus, and Sona aren't getting picked by my team, it's just asking for a loss. I only say that because the other team sure as hell will pick at least 2 of them, and then it's tedium for at least 25 minutes.

I can't really agree with that. Morg is squishy enough that taking Double Ups to the face is non-ideal, which MF can do safely behind her creep line. Unless she's pants on head retarded and insists on standing in pool, she's going to win that trade.

To try and avoid double up, you either more forward past your creep line (MF shoots her in the face with autos) or strafe way to the side (way to put yourself out there for an enemy gank attempt!).
