Kinda loved that umbrella/singing in the rain cover, though I don't know why, way too autotuned
Wishin Gweneth Paltrow became a regular as the co-director or something, she was a fun character. Also is this really the last of Terri, show? Promise?
And did Kurt really reference the Jesse-Rachel thing earlier in the episode? I thought the show decided to completely ignore that whole storyline

also, mercedes' gay vision during the third wheel dinner reminded me of many many nights in college with my roommates ( i was mercedes in those sitches)
I have not seen this episode yet so I don't know how her spanish is now, but when I was living in spain I would see interviews with her a lot on tv because she was fluent and spanish people get really excited about famous people being able to speak spanish I guess
She also might have said things wrong on purpose for the sake of humor. It's a long-running joke that high school spanish teachers in sitcoms are terrible and not nearly as fluent as they tell people.

I only saw a quick preview clip on Hulu so far but I'm really turned off by how they added a drum beat to Singin in the Rain.
Plus the camera work and choreography look like a modern music video and that clashes with the song. It's discord.
Personally, I find it impossible to separate the lyrics from how the song was presented in the movie.
So to me, all the elements of the Glee version of this number are not working in harmony.

The last number looked amazing, but that's about it. I did like the Singin' In the Rain bits, but they were too few.
Needs more Darren Criss and John Stamos being rad. And Mike O'Malley.
Some of the transitions between Singing in the Rain and Umbrella were awkward, but it flowed well at the end. I didn't like it at first but I'm listening to it again on Grooveshark and it's not bad.
The 'Forget You' cover was terrible, but 'Make'em Laugh' was actually pretty good (and fun to watch).
I liked Darren Criss last week, but this week he's just devolved into Kurt 2.0. Hopefully he plays it cool and breaks up with Kurt for being a drama queen.
Blugh I hated the singing in the rain/umbrella mash up. The sub plot in this episode was also awfullll. IF YOU'RE OVERWEIGHT AND DON'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND, IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE EATING AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR BEING LOVED. Blurrghh.
I liked the episode ok - but I couldn't escape the feeling that it was serving as a 1hr advertisement to see Paltrow's latest flick. It had almost an SNL vibe of "watch what wacky things this celebrity is doing out of character". Other guest stars weren't so blatently there to pimp a latest project to my memory.
