MoBo and Network driver questions

ShortForeskinShortForeskin Registered User regular
Ok so I'm about to format my computer and I'm missing my Nvidia cd for my motherboard. What's the quickest way to figure out which nForce series motherboard I own so I can download the required drivers before formatting?

Thanks,

Will

Probably best to find the model number on the board and look it up that way

Grab CPUID or PC Wizard or one of the many programs that will give you your specs. The mainboard or motherboard tab will tell you the make and model of your mobo without you having to open your case.

In Windows, you can open a command prompt and type "systeminfo" and it may tell you the exact model number of your motherboard where it says "system model"

This. Open up the case, look at the motherboard. Its not that hard, 99% of mobos have their model clearly printed somewhere
