i half expected the middle of trailer to take a turn
"oh no christopher is all grown up now and this is his last visit oh nooooooo people grow up"
that seems to be the TREND with movies like this recently
Yeah, got that vibe, too
Although, isn't that sort of how the first Pooh movie Disney made ended? With Christopher Robin and Pooh discussing how Christopher's going off to school, and how he won't be around anymore? And Pooh asks Christopher not to forget him?
Love it. Winnie the Pooh touches a special part of my heart. When I played through both Kingdom Hearts games I got that wonderful warm feeling that you can only get from these characters.

Maybe I'm misremembering, though
I remember basically nothing about the movies other than vague details but that's the plot of one of the original stories
i'm not sure if this trumps my original plan for the evening: Conan (the Barbarian) and knitting on a baby blanket. well, i can't say i'm unhappy with the turn of events.

Rane, I am sad that you aren't a Winnie the Pooh person.
I love Winnie the Pooh so, so much. I have to go see this. I don't know what I was expecting from the trailer, but it wasn't something that looks as faithful to the art of the original as this does. I hope the movie actually looks like that.
My whole family still says, "Pooh, did you do that?" when something surprising happens. And also this:
“Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there is really another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it. And then he feels that perhaps there isn’t.
is one of my favourite quotes of all time.

Okay this seems like it might completely rule.
Glad I did not miss this.
It seems pretty rad.
I might have to take my niece to this one.

Basically
I'm watching it strictly for the art and I'm going to ignore the douchey male lead as much as poccible

I wish they had picked different music for the trailer, though

"A simple hello would do, thank you very much."
That is such a great trailer.

tangled looks exactly like how dreamworks looks every single time, I doubt it'll be any better than "eh who cares"
and the yogi one looks bad
I wonder if they'll include the Heffalumps.

it's like I always knew I needed this
but I never knew how much I wanted it
And I really hope they don't do the last story from House on Pooh Corner. I re-read that recently and was in floods of tears, it's heartbreaking.
