I don't care, so long as we can all get in and talk
Talking is overrated. I would rather express myself through the art of modern dance. But I can do that while you guys are talking, so anywhere is fine.
I feel kind of dirty and touristy suggesting this, but Ninja?
i walk by that place every day on the way to work...
I've probably seen you on the street, lol.
bit pricey aint it?
Yeah. It's probably a dumb idea, especially given the group size, but it's one of those things that's always tickled me, but not enough to actually motivate on it. Like the field trip to Mideviel Times I've wanted to take since I was 9.

i like all kinds of food. i'm am definitely food-adventurous and like korean, indian, ethiopian, senegalese. i like it all. i don't want to spend a ton of money (my brother tells me that ninja is pretty spendy and also kind of embarrassing)
we need to settle on something though, since reservations will prob fill up for a 15-top.
yeah, that is the truth. i mean, congee village is one of those chinese joints with huge ass tables and they seat big groups before small groups.
i went at chinese new years time and it was good and cheaaaap.
umm, ok, well, i'll just ask some friends and do some googling and figure out something by tonight, but feel free to drop more suggestions.

I don't care where we go so long as I can get in and have a decent conversation with people (so no blasting subwoofers please)
the K-town idea is cool especially if it's a Korean BBQ place, but I know that can get asspensive. Also as everyone knows...I am totes down for hookah. There is a nice place in the East Village called Cloisters I like, but you have to buy a drink, it's max 4 people to a hookah, and each hookah is $20.
Also Shaz, No-Quarter said he might come too, so 15 people ballparked
but i would be fine with dim sum, thing is, isn't dim sum like a morning/lunch thing
and also i've never been to dim sum without a chinese speaking person who could just order everything good for me
6 pm seems reasonable
im bad at planning things for anything over 10 people, this is hard
i always let other people decide for me ><
what'd we do last time, or that time SIG was here, went to blockheads? but blockheads on a friday night is impossible esp with 15 ppl i feel like
I would also be able to attend. As for foods, nothing fancy or too expensive. What are we planning to do otherwise? See a movie? Black Swann looks goods. If not, drinking and general debauchery are fine.

No, but very close! Mine is La Vie on 1st and 1st. Karma is two streets north of it. (I too have a problem.)

Is it as magical as they made it seem on that episode of Don't Just Sit There I saw circa 1990?

I second Rio. I've got a serious fiending for guac made tableside and their Shrimp-apeno Poppers.

No tables are available within 2.5 hours of your 6:30 PM request.
