Hey guys,
Somebody backed into the passenger side tail light assembly on my 2003 VW Jetta Wagon (GLS) and damaged the passenger side tail light. I'm in the market for a new one but I can't find any information as to which models of tail light will fit my car. A brand new part is $130 at any of the stores around here, used ones are nonexistent, so I'd like to order one online for half the price. Many of these parts claim to be compatible with all 2003 Jetta models but again there is no readily apparent confirmation that they'll fit the Wagon model, and the lights may have a slightly different shape. Help?

Pretty certain any 2001-2004 wagon taillight should work. The only differences were lens design, and I'm not even sure if that applies to the wagon.
edit: There are massive differences between wagon and sedan housings. Don't buy a sedan one

Call you local salvage yards. If you find one, it'll be waaaay cheaper. I got one for an old car of mine many years ago for $15 when the dealership was charging $300.
