Disregard we just broke up.
So my girlfriend of three years has been down in CA for almost a year now while I finished a Health Care Worker course up here in BC. The idea is that I should now be looking for work in the San Fran area and so now I wonder:
What manner of visa do I need?
Do I need to find a job first then apply?
I found a number of websites which were not exactly user friendly, so on the off chance someone on the forum here has some input on the matter I would love your input before I walk into the local passport office and get told "we don't do that here, try [some other place] which might be able to help."
