    When a kitten is nursing, it typically kneads its paws against its mother, either as a sign of contentment or to encourage the milk flow. When the cat matures, it kneads to show its contentment and pleasure.

    It's not breastfeeding, it's just kneading and keeping its nose warm on that other cat, who is kind of annoyed about it after a while.

    The kneading behavior might be related to getting the mom cat to breastfeed her kittens, though.

    my cat mona got weened to early

    so she would need with one paw, and suck on the pads of her other paw

    it was the cutest thing

    her sister used to get mad because she started sucking on her sisters toes

    it makes me want to grin forever
