The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Maybe it's just the way they're written, but the descriptions for even the big events and goings-ons (Fear Itself Prologue, Death of Ultimate Spidey, Ultimate Doom, Three, Age of X) just sound stale and repetitive.
There's really not a whole lot here I'm interested in, and I'd feel the same way about this month's DC solicits if I wasn't a bit more into the characters on that side.
Also, notably, the solicits make it sound like Fraction is leaving Thor.... Anyone know anything about that?

Chris Samnee gets to draw USM #155, might pick that up before Bagley's run kicks back in.
There are seriously so many captain america books. Only two of them in this entire flood have caught my eye, and it's because I'm interested in the writers: Waid and Maybury.
I'm kind of hoping Age of X will be pretty good; I trust Mike Carey, and I'd like to pick it up in trade.
Seriously, though, Fraction on Thor? That solicit with "FINALE!" along with DNA writing the .1 issue lead me to believe that me may be moving away from the book, and we already know he's leaving Uncanny...

I think Fraction will still be on Thor, it's just the Finale of the arc. I would think. Because keeping Fraction on Iron Man, of all the books he's writing, makes no sense.
Looking at the solicits more, a few books were knocked down to $3, including minis and one-shots, which is good. Kind of weird seeing some X-Men First Class one-shots appear that aren't written by Jeff Parker.
Deadpool Team-Up is the one DP book that got cancelled, which makes me wonder what the final vote was for that poll.
Avengers: The Children's Crusade - Young Avengers #1, on top of an odd name seems like a filler issue for a bi-monthly book that had 4 years to get done.
I guess FF #1 is free? Don't see a price for it.

He's still on Uncanny, he's just "moving away from it."
-The return of the Wasp? Alright. I like Janet, but if she does come back, I hope Gage actually has a plan to do a story with her. Avengers Academy already has a pretty huge cast.
-Every time Travis Charest leaves comics for a while, he comes back with a new, more detailed style.
-Captain America and Crossbones, as drawn by Declan Shalvey? I may grab that. Actually, pretty much all of the Captain America and [X] titles have at least one person on the creative team, that I like.
-Satana's joining the Thunderbolts. Hopefully in a less cheesecake-y outfit.
-Deadpool vs Id the Selfish Moon? That's awesome.
-Frank Tieri writing a Wolverine/Hercules book? Nooo.
-Spider-Man and Black Cat are appearing in X-Factor. Not so enthused about that.
-Ice Man and Angel, by Brian Clevinger and Juan Doe? Cyclops, as drawn by Dean Haspiel? Awesome.
Other than that, nothing's really jumping out at me.

10 Captain America books this month, blah.
Is it just me, or are the one billion spin-off series for every major character way more hostile to new readers than continuity?

god fucking damnit.
I'm personally very happy
Looks like I'm still down to just three books: Thor, Ultimate Cap, and Daredevil: Reborn. I might get Venom #1 if everyone on here likes it.
As for trades, oh hell yes I'm getting Punisher MAX Vol. 6. Glad to see them going beyond the end of Ennis's run.
in hell
Fuck you
You cocky cock! You'll pay for your crimes against humanity!

It's Arana.
And Tobin's writing it.

Most likely, but I don't want this book to die like Young Allies did.
Too many good, fun books die these days.

I'm confused. Gonna go read Green Lantern.
Throw back some Four Loko.

Only for the Ana Kraven arc, I believe.
