    Arglebarble, fonts, php, and GD do not play well together

    And omg adding transparent PNGs using GD is tempermental or something. I've got the race icons on, in the right place (!!) but with a white background ugh

    Actually I liked Tyler commenting on other streams. It taught me more about the metagame than just watching did.

    tyler has incredible game knowledge

    like

    he's able to relate really deep concepts pretty easily

    so watching him commentate a good player like huk or something is pretty great

    but right now everyone should be watching early night gsl code a matches!

    sangho is going to be playing in the second match!

    most people dont build enough infestors early enough to have the energy to grab like three thors and three tanks like golden did

    at least, thats what im concluding to right now

    because it wasnt amazing micro that made those good

    it was the quantity and the terran having the perfect units for it (i think his mech weapons was +2 at the time?)

    I agree. I'm mostly just complaining because I wanted to watch some people play. Not watch people watching people play.

    also for the day9 contest thing... do you need to enter every week? or win one week? I don't know if the details have been explained or not. I'm gonna be at paxeast anyway so hopefully they're doing something I can watch but damn a chance to win some hangout time would be cool as hell.

    Spent so much time being cute with Overlords full of Banelings and casting spells on Vikings and building a boatload of Mutalisks that he never expanded to those essentially free bases.

    Then all of those Mutalisks just evaporate to those 3/3 Marines.

    Why does he keep expanding to places that the Terran can attack while still defending his own bases? Why not expand to the bottom-left so that the Terran has to risk his only mining base if he wants to push?

    Golden got really complacent. He stopped trying to get more ahead and just started going "meh I won" and stayed even.

    Byun clawed his way back into that and then killed him.

    im pretty sure it was his mech that was 3/3 not the marines

    but yeah golden could have taken the 6oclock and the next expansion along to the left easily while terran was sieged up at the 12.

    and maybe even take terrans normal third.

    is there anywhere to watch recent BW matches with english commentary? I want to learn more about it and I'm watching a stream now and have looked at vods lately but it's all korean.

    I doubt it but worth a shot.
