See, Morrigan wanted to go casual so I boned her, then Lelina, after making the effort to harden her personality, got her knickers in a bunch so I called it off with Morrigan, because hey, this is a no strings thing, right? Morrigan got rather pissed.

I don't see a Steam thread so I am going to post this here.

It basically says that PC and PS3 players of Portal 2 co-op can play and chat together.

It also say that if you buy the PS3 version you also own it on the PC. You have to link your PS Network account with your Steam account in order to do that.

I guess that counts with the Mac as well.

That sounds tempting, but I cannot think of a situation in which I would play the PS3 version over the Steam version. Perhaps if I could do co-op between the two, but I assume a single copy would share a Steam login for both copies, and not be able to be played at the same time.

I'd rather have the console version

I'd honestly prefer it on the 360, but the steamworks stuff is a big enough bonus to push me over

it's just nice to see that the player base won't be divided between the two platforms

i just read through a few developer previews for DA2, and i'm interested in how the narrative is entirely character-driven. there's no huge evil to defeat. it's just 'who is this person'

    that's a nice change

I remember some reviewers disliking ME2's focus on the squad-building and earning the trust of your team, as opposed to the core conflict which was essentially just fodder for the finale

    Those critics were dumb

Like I said before, I just hope there's room in the telling of Hawke's story to do non-plot stuff. The last game I played which took a similar over-the-years path was SaGa Frontier 2 and that was kinda 'eh' in my eyes.

I'm sure that there will be sidequests in addition to the main plotline. Bioware could even have some fun with it and have you revisit a farm you could have saved or let it burn and see how things have changed. Could be interesting to see what they could do with a bit of freedom and not having to worry about it effecting the overall storyarch.
