I'm putting together a machinima for youtube in adobe premiere pro. Anyone know what media encoder settings to go with to get the ultra crisp quality like in this video for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzVGgNK30cE
Maybe my eyes are broken but that doesn't seem any more or less crisp than your average HD YouTube video. I encode with XviD at the highest settings that won't make the video too big to upload, and it looks like this:
That looks really nice. I'm downloading xvid now. So if I edit in premiere pro how do I go about encoding the edit with xvid, or will that become obvious once I d/l?
My (admittedly feeble) understanding is that something like VirtualDub is a better option for encoding; you can just export an uncompressed file from Premiere and then encode it in VirtualDub, which is itself a pretty straightforward process. Otherwise I imagine encoding in XviD with Premiere, if it works fine, is rather straightforward too.
