I think that this thread will probably be as much help to others as it will be advice for me.
A bit of me talking
I have done this a few times with great success but now require abit more help with finding a book signed by a guy who never signed alot of them and has a fan base that is not only older but has presoise few momentoes of the characters they love. So even though the signature I'm looking for is from an author that is still alive with it's rarity this thread should also help people find books signed by people who are dead or equaly rare.
In my case I'm looking for a signed Calvin and Hobbes book, if you have any idea about Bill Watterson you know getting more specific about which C&H book you want is pointless and or addes several hunderard dollars onto the price. Any way on to the meat of this thread.
So over the last few months I've been compiling a list of websites to check on a daily/weekly basis and thought that I would share them and ask all of you if there was any that I had missed or any suggestions for me or others who are looking for such a thing.
I have had dealings with Alibris (though not for a signed book) and they were great. The prices were super low. They were prompt with shipping, and packaged the books very well. I was pleased.

Haven't bought anything there yet but Patrick Rothfuss mentioned http://signedpage.com/ on his blog a few weeks ago. They apparently deal only in signed books but the stock seems fairly limited.
