Not sure if this is the right forum or if it should be in the tech forum. I'm going to buy a wireless router and my PS3 and computer will be hooked up to it. I've got a cable internet connection and I was hoping to be able to move pictures and music and whatnot from the computer to the ps3 over the connection.

I'm not sure if there's a certain brand that's better than others. Mainly I'm looking for something that can transfer files, needs to be secure, and preferrably not more than 50 bucks.

I really like the Advantek Wireless N Broadband Router, not sure where you can buy it though:

Hear my warnings, unbelievers. We have raised altars in this land so that we may sacrifice you to our gods. There is no hope in opposing the inevitable. Put down your arms, unbelievers, and bow before the forces of Chaos!

    This is $70:

I run a couple of these and they are excellent. They are known for heat issues, but mounting them on a wall (vents up) alleviates that. They are very fast and have excellent support for dd-wrt, which is important if you're a geek like me. Highly recommended product.

I can't speak for N routers, but if you're looking for G, there is only one answer:
    Linksys WRT54GL - (currently) $49.99 on Newegg
Install either dd-wrt or tomato firmware instead of the default Linksys crap and you will have a rock solid router.
