As far as I know only RPRO dealers have the hex files used to program PT2000's and they aren't available to the general public. Unfortunately sending someone the hex files and programming utility so you can DIY would be akin to pirating software. My employer charges $500 per unit to program them. I would shop around different RPRO vendors and see how much they charge.

Yeah, if you're trying to get paid software for free that's not allowed at all.

No I do not want it for free I'm just trying to find out more information about it.

I did not know the config file was a program my understanding is that it is a set of communication protocols.

Now I know that it is a program and it is something that I need to purchase.

I will do that how the question is who sells it.

You might be able to find the programming utility online somewhere as the scanner can be setup for multiple software applications/functions, but the actual hex files that you "load" into the utility to program it for RPRO specifically is proprietary.

edit: Well you don't really purchase the program itself. You purchase the programming of the unit. Meaning you would send in the unit to the vendor, they would program it for use with RPRO then send the unit back. You don't get a copy of the software.
