    last night i had many beers and then chili cheese fries and then chips
    it wasn't that late even

    the beers i had were nice

    some japanese red rice ale
    some belgian trippel
    some golden bock
    and then i had some low abv beer because i was gettin pretty drunk even though the bartender got that round for us

    Québec City poutine restaurant chain. Not the best poutine in town, but certainly useful when you're hungry and in a rush.

    Thanks Rivs, it means a lot. I think I have things sorted. I think I'm going to have two resits in the summer, and then two repeats next year. All I have to do is sort out the money, since each failure is €230. One of them might have been a mistake too, so that would take a load off.

    In philosophy there is 'the no miracles argument.' So of course someone wrote a paper called 'the no no miracles argument argument.'

    Sometimes people prioritize being clever over being readable! For instance, 'the principal principle' is the worst name.

    I think it's playing on the perception that horse racing is perceived as classier than dog racing.

    with time to think, im sort of missing home. i think this actually is the longest stretch outside stavanger in my life

    but some of it is just missing the freedom to walk and drive around

    Greyhound racing really messes the dogs up.

    I know a family that adopts them, and the dogs are just not right in the head for the first couple years. Sometimes they never get over whatever trauma it was they saw.

    I think SIG tried to adopt a greyhound recently. So she can probably attest to it.
