ebo, I am sorry for phys-killing you with my AT4. That is never called for
I regret no ebo-related deaths that occurred while you were in my chopper or in a chopper that was mine until I randomly disconnected during complicated maneuvers or that were technically caused by your chopper with help from my chopper.

Why would you apologize for that? That warrants an "are you blind?" much more than "oh god sorry".
Because I'm a nice guy? :P It's just my reaction.
I always apologize for TKing, except with destruction kills, cos really, you should be able to notice a house groaning loudly all around you before it collapses.

Not to mention the "GET THE FUCK OUT, THIS PLACE IS COMING DOWN ON TOP OF US" that plays if you're inside one when it starts.

Hokay
so
before, I had my CPU clocked at 3.33ghz due to overheating issues. I could only push the multiplier up to 10x 380 without it failing to boot. So I bumped the multiplier up to 12x 333.
It fucking booted first try.
I now have a QX9650 clocked at 4.0ghz that does not go one bit above 60 degrees celcius.

God dammit Jim. I want to shoot Russians but can't because Bad Company 2 doesn't want to work for me. Anyone know how to fix this whole "Connection to game server has been lost" deal? Ports are fine and so is Punk Buster, I have no idea what's going on with it. I can connect to server using Play Now though but that just throws me into a server filled with Germans.

Was listening to the Microphone Fiend cover by RATM :P
Some matches I was wrecking the opposition vehicles (I play mainly as engi) and in other games I just seemed unable to kill anything (seriously - firing at some guy and getting 5 or 6 hit markers only to have him turn around and kill you immediately is frustrating).
On the upside I made my finest smoke grenade kill ever - I just wish it was planned. On atacama desert, rush, having just cleared the 2nd base and starting towards base 3. I was on the wrecked ship and thought I would lob a couple grenades onto the enemy spawn to cover our advance. First grenade was lobbed towards the building on the left (as you look at it from base 2) and for once I had ranged it perfectly. Smoke ballooned up and obscured the house and then I noticed the "killed enemy player" message and thought "wtf?" That must have been a 150m smoke nade kill. God I wish I had frapsed that.
Just to bring me down to earth we then went onto cold war and got slaughtered. Literally. Like 0/17. Spawn, take two steps, die. Rinse and repeat.
Ho hum.
On a seperate note - any PC players tried the different size maps? I play exclusively on the 32 player maps and I am starting to feel that they can be a bit crowded - as in there is not so much opportunity for sneaky play and flanking as there are people *everywhere*. Anyone out there that can provide an opinion on 24 vs 32 man maps?
I didn't realize that there was any difference in size in maps other than between the 4 game types.
No size difference, just more players in the same space.
I've found it makes maps like Heavy Metal much better, but I haven't played many other maps repeatedly with 24 and 32 player modes enabled.
Ooooooh. That makes a lot more sense. I don't really have a preference. I think I might like 24 better since Heavy Metal often turns into who has the best pilot or if none are present, who has the most tanks in one location.
e: Heavy Metal really should have been a 4 point map in my opinion with a huge mountain ridge between the two on the sides maybe with a narrow pass in the center of that.
